Canada Graduate Research Scholarship — Doctoral (CGRS-D)

The CGRS-D (replacing the discontinued Vanier CGS) provides $40,000/year for 36 months to outstanding doctoral students at eligible Canadian institutions. Up to 15% of awards reserved for international students. Agency deadline: October 17 annually; institutional deadlines may be earlier.
