Campus France “Etudes en France” Procedure
If your country is connected to the “Etudes en France” platform, you must complete the Campus France pre-consular procedure before applying for your visa.
Proof of Enrolment
You must provide a certificate of admission or enrolment from a recognised French higher-education institution.
Proof of Financial Means
You must show sufficient means of subsistence — a minimum of around €615 per month for the length of your stay — via bank statements, a scholarship, or a guarantor.
Proof of Accommodation
You must provide evidence of accommodation in France (student residence, rental agreement, or host certificate) for your initial period of stay.
Valid Passport
You must hold a passport valid for at least three months beyond your intended stay, issued within the last ten years.
OFII Validation on Arrival
The VLS-TS acts as a residence permit but must be validated online with the French Office for Immigration and Integration (OFII) within three months of arrival, with the applicable fee paid.
